📢 Encompass Zoning Request Withdrawn – Grove Park Update

We have an important update regarding the ongoing zoning concerns with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital.

At the recent Forsyth County Board of Commissioners meeting, Encompass’ lawyer formally requested to “Withdraw Without Prejudice” their zoning amendment request.

What Does This Mean?

• The zoning request for changes to additional beds, a new patient loading/unloading zone, and more parking at the rear of the facility has been removed for now.

• “Withdraw Without Prejudice” means that while the request is withdrawn, Encompass can refile it in the future if they choose to.

What’s Next?

While this is a positive step, Grove Park will continue to monitor any future zoning requests or developments that may impact our community. The HOA board and zoning committee remain committed to ensuring our neighborhood’s concerns are addressed and that Encompass complies with prior zoning conditions.
